 District Planning Committee- Sagar topped in  PM awas allotment in MP

 The District Planning Committee has passed a proposal to name Rajghat Dam after Rani Anvatibai Lodhi and Makaronia ROB on Dr Gour Bridge after the name of the founder of Sagar University. 

The meeting of the District Planning Committee was held in the collectorate meeting room under the chairmanship of Dr Arvind Singh Bhadauria, Minister in charge of the State's Cooperative Public Service Management.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban and Rural, Chief Minister Land Rights Scheme, Jal Jeevan Mission, and electricity supply were reviewed in detail in the meeting. 

In-charge Minister Mr Bhadoria instructed the officials to provide the benefits of the Chief Minister's residential land rights schemes to all eligible families in the district.

He said that restoration of the roads which have been dug for tap water schemes should be ensured with full quality.

In the review meeting, it was informed about Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban that the maximum number of houses in Madhya Pradesh have been sanctioned in the Sagar district. 71,786 houses are sanctioned in the urban body in the district. In which attachment of 68,886 and the first instalment has been issued to 66,750.

Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana

Similarly, 1 lakh 31 thousand houses are approved, 1 lakh 18 thousand 873 are complete and 12148 are incomplete under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana. The percentage of completion is about 90 per cent. Sanctioned in Awas Plus is 24,946. Out of which 13703 have been completed. The percentage gain of completion is 55 per cent.

land rights scheme

The minister in charge said that the land rights scheme is an ambitious scheme of the chief minister. Its benefits should be given to the maximum number of people. Ninety thousand 105 applications have been received under the Chief Minister's Residential Land Rights Scheme. Out of which 9 thousand 780 leases have been prepared for distribution.

In the meeting, the minister in charge while reviewing the law and order situation in the district appreciated the action taken by the Collector and Superintendent of Police against the criminals. The minister in charge said that a criminal is a criminal and the strictest action should be taken against him. It doesn't matter who it is.

Jal Jeevan Mission

Gadhakota, Madhiya, Shahgarh, Banda, Bina, Khurai and Malthon group water supply schemes were reviewed in the meeting. Giving information about Jal Jeevan Mission, the Collector said that the total number of villages in the district is 1901. In which the number of families is 3,73,748. The coverage of total household tap connections is 38.37 per cent. 

The minister in charge directed that the work of Jal Jeevan Mission should be completed on time. So that people get the benefit of every household tap. He said that wherever roads have been dug for tap schemes. Their restoration should be completed with quality.

Vidyut Vitran

The Superintending Engineer of Madhya Pradesh East Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company said that electricity is being supplied for 23 hours 48 minutes at district headquarters, 23 hours 20 minutes at tehsil headquarters and 22.55 hours at rural headquarters and 9 hours 15 minutes in agricultural feeders. 

The Minister in charge directed to immediately replace the damaged transformers and maintain them seamlessly. The minister in charge asked the superintendent engineer to register an FIR against those who deliberately collapsed the system to block the power supply during the strike.
