Fine on Stray Cattle-Leaving cattle on public roads is now punishable

The state government has issued an amendment order in the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act-1956. Under which a fine of one thousand rupees will be imposed for leaving or tying up cattle and other animals on public roads and public places.

Under Section 358 of the order issued under Section 358 of the order, cattle or other animals are left loose or tied in public roads, or places or willfully negligently leave any cattle loose, or tied, which causes injury to any person or damage to property or public traffic. obstructs or becomes endangered or creates a public nuisance, then the State Government shall be punishable with a fine of one thousand rupees.
