Sagar Watch/ The honorarium of all the officers and employees performing duty in the Assembly elections 2023 has been paid. Collector and District Election Officer Deepak Arya said that Rs 87 lakh 46 thousand 500 has been paid to 8 thousand 962 officers and employees engaged in the elections.
Apart from this, a payment of Rs 23 lakh 14 thousand 800 has been made for the food arrangements of the officers and employees engaged in voting. Similarly, honorarium of micro observer has also been paid.
Collector Shri Arya told that in the assembly elections, honorarium of Rs 1400 is paid to the presiding officer and honorarium of Rs 300 for food, honorarium of Rs 1000 to Polling Officer No. 1, Rs 300 for food, Rs 750 to Polling Officer No. 2 and Rs 300 for food.
Similarly Payment of Rs 750 to polling officer number three and Rs 300 for food has been made in the bank account of the relations.Similarly, honorarium of Rs 2 lakh 48 thousand has been paid to 248 micro observers,he said.
Deputy District Election Officer Bhavya Tripathi asked the officers and employees involved in the entire Assembly Election 2023 to reconcile their bank accounts and if for any reason the amount does not reach their accounts, then they should immediately contact the District Election Office. .
