BJP, Cabinet, Social Engineering
Sagar Watch/ The names of the much awaited cabinet have finally been announced in Madhya Pradesh on Monday. As Sagar Watch had said in its previous analysis, the composition of the cabinet remained almost the same.
In the cabinet formed through the fabric of social engineering, out of total 28 seats, 12 seats went to Other Backward Classes(OBC), five seats to Scheduled Castes (SC) and four seats to Scheduled Tribes(ST). Whereas only seven places came in the share of general category(G).
In the formation of the cabinet, as it was predicted earlier that Scindia's magic could work, it seems to be proved right, Scindia factor emerged in full force.
Four generals, including three very important people of the Maharaja, have been given a place in the cabinet. Due to which many old stalwarts and strong fighters of BJP were marginalized.
However, according to political experts, as soon as the names of the cabinet were revealed, there was panic in Shivraj's camp. The leaders of this group are busy solving the equations that play an important role in the inclusion and exclusion of names from the cabinet.
Due to the social engineering that has been done in the formation of the cabinet with an eye on the strategy to win the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, many new faces who have won the elections for the first time have also got a chance to become ministers.
But on the contrary, such MLAs who had won the elections for more than three consecutive times and had full hopes of becoming ministers this time, have been disappointed due to the mathematics of this social engineering.
There is an atmosphere of extreme disappointment among his supporters. He is neither able to say anything against the decision of the top leadership of the party nor is he able to convince his mind to accept the changed circumstances.
The cabinet formed as per the strategy of the party's high command has shaken the party's elderly and experienced leaders to their core. They want to express their heartfelt pain but the fear of getting angry with the high command is preventing them from doing so.
A person close to one such leader, who has been active as a public representative of the party for more than four decades, says that it is a good thing to give place to new and young faces of the party in the cabinet. But it is not right to give place to imported leaders in the cabinet by ignoring the old experienced and dedicated leaders of our own party.
Due to this, such confusion can also spread among the party workers that in the race to win the elections, the party is giving more importance to opportunism than its ideas and principles.
It is true that political parties take big decisions only after careful consideration. It is not everyone's cup of tea to understand all the factors that go into such decisions.
Yet, as a result of such important decisions, many questions and doubts arise in the minds and hearts of common people. It is a big responsibility of the party's policy makers to solve them in the right way and at the right time in the interest of the party.
In the opinion of politicians, the decisions taken by the BJP high command regarding the formation of cabinets in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh do not seem to be out of this scope.
