Workshop On Dairy Industry On 18th January In Sagar

Sagar Watch/ Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) jointly with the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development (DAHD), Government of Madhya Pradesh is organizing a workshop focused on investment opportunities in the dairy sector in Madhya Pradesh. The workshop will be inaugurated by Minister of Animal Husbandry and Dairying Lakhan Singh Patel.

The session, scheduled to be held on January 18 at a private hotel in Bahariya, will bring together key stakeholders, experts and entrepreneurs to explore the vast potential in the dairy sector of the region.

Dairy is a high priority sector for the Government of India as well as the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh is the third largest milk producing state in the country and has the third largest milch animal population.

Given the optimal central location as well as availability of surplus milk in the state, Madhya Pradesh has high chances of soon becoming a supply hub for other neighboring states.

Also Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Department (DAHD), Government of Madhya Pradesh will be involved. This session is expected to provide a comprehensive understanding to potential investors and industry enthusiasts with their valuable insights and perspectives on the opportunities in the dairy sector.

Apart from the address by Shri Gulshan Bamra, the session will also have special addresses by Invest India, Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Cooperative Dairy Federation (MPCDF) and other industry experts. The objective of this workshop is to disseminate important dairy sector investment information, share success stories and discuss the latest trends in the dairy industry.
