These views were expressed by Prof. KK Aggarwal, President of South Asian University established by SAARC countries, during his address as the chief guest at the 32nd convocation ceremony organized at the Golden Jubilee Auditorium of Dr. Harisingh Gaur Central University on Wednesday.
He said that today multidisciplinarity is being talked about in the field of education. The world's great scientists and researchers have had a multidisciplinary mindset and that is why their research results have been innovative and beneficial to the public.
Speaking on student-centric education, he said that we all have to create such an environment that we can continuously produce personalities like Dr. Harisingh Gour. This will be the standard of our success and excellence. Create curiosity among the students, motivate them, develop critical vision in them. These are the qualities of an innovative researcher.

Chancellor of the University, Kanhaiyalal Berwal, while giving the presidential address, said that getting a degree is the happiest moment in the life of any student.
In this connection, guest of honor Padma Shri Prof. RC Sobti said in his address that nature is the greatest teacher. The need to learn from nature is an important part of the education system.
Indian life culture is very scientific and logical compared to Western culture and the Indian education system has been integrated since the beginning.
At the end of the program, Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Neelima Gupta presented the annual report and underlined the achievements of teachers and students.
In the convocation ceremony, the guests presented gold medals and certificates to 56 meritorious students from various schools of the university. In the convocation ceremony, degrees were awarded to 1200 students of 11 schools of CBCS system and 2 affiliated colleges.
In which 478 graduates, PG 376 and Ph.D. A total of 951 students, including 97 students of B.Sc., appeared and obtained the degree. Apart from this, the remaining students were given the degree ‘In Absentia’.
