Barcoding On Cooking Gas Cylinder Will Stop its Misuse

Sagar Watch News/ Domestic gas cylinder is a very safe and non-polluting fuel used for cooking in every household in the country. At present, 75 percent of the citizens in the country are using it for domestic use.

But the gas cylinder used in homes for cooking is as useful as it is when used properly, but it is equally dangerous if used illegally. Maharashtra's organization Customer Efficiency Welfare Foundation is working in the field of promoting safe use of domestic gas. 

The members of the organization go to many states of the country and make the public aware about the safe use of gas cylinders used for cooking. Besides, on receiving information about misuse of domestic gas cylinders, it also informs the district administration of the concerned area.

The members of the organization told in a press conference organized in the hotel of the city that their members keep writing letters to the district administration continuously telling them where and how the cylinders used for cooking are being misused.

On this occasion, the organization's representative Shubham Rangkari said that his organization is requesting the government to implement the system of barcoding and QR code tracking on domestic gas cylinders across the country as soon as possible. 

This new system will prevent black marketing of domestic gas cylinders and reduce accidents and will also increase the government's revenue.
