He used to meet people of opposite ideologies and provide real information. These views were expressed by Dainik Bhaskar Bhopal editor Rajesh Sharma during his speech in a program organized here in connection with Devrishi Narad Jayanti.
At the beginning of the program, Professor Manisha Sharma explained in her speech how journalism played a special role in the Indian freedom movement. Indian journalism kept the independent spirit alive.
She underlined the objectives and trends of journalism before independence by drawing light on the role of newspapers like Hindustan, Kesari, Aaj, Bharat Mitra, Yugantar, etc.
She said that today there is a need for media inspired by nationalism, imbibing the qualities of Devrishi Narad, and doing value-based journalism.
In his address, special guest Rajkumar Khatri expressed his views regarding the challenges of current journalism and presenting news to society with complete authenticity.
In his speech, Provincial Publicity Chief Vinod said that in the history of independent India, those who invoke the Constitution made full efforts to crush journalism by imposing the emergency in 1975. They put journalists in jail and snatched away any freedom of speech and writing during the emergency.
At the beginning of the program organized on Narad Jayanti by Devrishi Narad Jayanti Samaroh Manch, guests garlanded and lit lamps on the pictures of Bharat Mata and Narad ji.
Chief guest senior journalist Rajesh Sharma, keynote speaker Professor Manisha Sharma Dean Vocational Education Faculty Journalism and Mass Communication Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Amarkantak, special guest Mr. Rajkumar Khatri Commissioner Municipal Corporation Sagar were present in the program.
The program was conducted by Anshul Bhargava and Rambabu Rawat expressed his gratitude. Dr. GS Choubey, Dhirendra Mishra, Anil Awasthi and other people associated with RSS and journalists were present in the program.
