The administration seems to be active after coming up complaints about alleged disorder in the Covid-19 Hospital located at Bundelkhand Medical College.

Covid-19 hospital: Hospitalized patients Facing Problems

On Monday, Divisional Commissioner visited the Bundelkhand Medical college. On Sunday, a letter written by a patient admitted to the Covid-19 hospital went viral on social media. In which there was mention of the problems being faced by hospitalized patients This might be one of the many reasons which made administration to be active. After the BMC visit, the Divisional Commissioner held a meeting with the officials responsible for making arrangements for Covid-19 Hospital.

Bundelkhand Medical College: Help Desk Started

Covid-19 ward has been set up at Bundelkhand Medical College for prevention and control of infection with coronavirus. Corona infected persons of the division are being treated here. To help the families of the patients, the commissioner Mr JK Jain has started a help desk at the main gate of the Bundelkhand Medical College.

He informed that with the start of the helpdesk, better communication will be established between the patient, family and doctor. With this, the family of the patients will not only be able to visit them, following all the protocols to know their actual status but can also see their status through video calling.

He told that the doctors are also getting updates from Corona infected people every day with full goodwill. Shri Jain instructed that an android phone and complaint register should also be made available in each ward. In this complaint register, patients will be able to register their complaint. Necessary action will be taken by visiting the complaint register daily by Dr GS Patel, the Dean of the Bundelkhand Medical College

Commissioner's Instruction: Doctors wear Nameplates on PPE Kits

Mr Jain instructed that the doctor should also put his nameplate on top of his PPE kit so that the patient can know which doctor has treated him. He said that through the helpdesk, not only the family of the patient will be able to meet him, but will also be able to give home food, clothes etc. He said that the bed linen of the patient should be changed every day as well as cleaning the toilet every hour. He also directed to ensure responsibility in writing for all the works.

Shri Jain said that the support given by the VICHAR organization is commendable. If other institutions also cooperate in this way, then it will be easy to win the battle with the coordinated efforts of all. Kapil Malaiya, Director of the Society of Vichar, informed that this work entrusted to the organization by the Commissioner Mr JK Jain will be done with full enthusiasm. Also, care will be taken that none of the patients or their families faces any problem 24 hours.

He informed that helpers will be present round the clock at the help centre. He said that yoga will also be done from the room daily through video calling. Any problems that the patients face will be resolved very soon. 

On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Commissioner RP Ahirwar, Dr GS Patel Dean, BMC, Dr Ramesh Pandey, Dr HP Singh, Director of Vichar Sansthan Kapil Malaiya, Mr Mahesh Tiwari, Mr Nitin Pateria, Mr Shailendra Thakur, Mr Akhilesh Samaiya were present.
