Short-Term-Course-on-Research-Methodology-Conducted-in-Dr Gour-University
SagarWatch@ The program on Research Methodology started on 14 October under the joint aegis of Human Resource Development Center and Department of Zoology of Dr Harisinghgaur University.
In the inaugural session of this program lasting 6 days, Dr VM Satishkumar, Senior Scientist, Zoological Survey of India Dehradun, gave information about different species of unknown and known organisms and plants through DNA barcoding.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. JD Ahi threw light on various aspects, dimensions and utility of the research. Program coordinator Prof. Varsha Sharma gave the outline of the six-day program to the participants. The event was attended by 55 participants from across the country.
In this scientific program, on the innovative initiative of HRTC Director Prof. RT Bagde, the outside participants were introduced to the personality and gratitude of Sagar University and its founder Dr Hari Singh Gour.

In the first two days, Dr Reena Jacob of Trivandrum, Kerala, showed the participants from various aspects of molecular research the theoretical as well as the experimental side of the ultra-modern instruments like RT-PCR, flow cytometry on the virtual plane.
Lectures of Prof. SS Sindhu Jabalpur, AK Kar Indore, Prof. U.K.Patil Sagar and Prof. Alka Parashar and Prof. Praveen Tamot of Bhopal were completed. Prof. Ruchira Chaudhary from Bhopal, Prof. Divya Bagchi from Jabalpur, Dr Ashwankumar from Sagar and Noah Laj from Kerala also participated in the event.
