SAGAR WATCH/ Inaugurating the 66th All India Police Duty Meet 2022-23, the Urban Development and Housing Minister said that It is a matter of pride for MP and Police that we have got the opportunity to host the All India Police Duty Meet. This event, which is held at the all India level, increases the exchange of knowledge and methods. Along with this, an environment of cooperation is also created.
Sharing with each other the methods of action against problems like terrorism, naxalism and corruption in the All India Police Duty Meet today will help the police to take effective action on these problems. In comparison to the previous year, there has been a decrease of 19 percent in the total crimes in the year 2022.
Along with the eradication of dacoity, there is a continuous campaign against Naxalism. During the anti-Naxal operations conducted in the year 2022, during the last 6 months from June to December, 6 Naxalites carrying a reward of Rs 114 lakh were neutralized. For the first time in the 32 years of Naxal history, such a huge success was achieved in the anti-Naxal campaign. Women's police stations are operational in all the districts. Now 950 Mahila Urja Desks are functional.
Shri Singh said that all these competitions are very contemporary and useful from the point of view of upgradation of skills in police research system by rising above victory and defeat. He hoped that all the participants would make new records by participating in the competitions with full dedication and concentration. At the same time, he expressed confidence that there will be no let down in respect and honor of the policemen.
Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena said that before this two police duty meetings have been held in Madhya Pradesh. The common problems of the police of different states are discussed in the meet. Share each other's good works. All the competitions that will be held in the Police Duty Meet are related to daily tasks.
He said that it should be made a medium of knowledge sharing. Shri Saxena said that all efforts have been made to make your stay in Bhopal comfortable. He said that a total of 100 dogs are also included in different teams. DIG Smt. Krishna Veni Deshabatu did the vote of thanks.
Police Duty Meet in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, BSF, Chhattisgarh, CRPF, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, ITBP, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Railway Protection Force, SSB, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Teams from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh are participating.
