SAGAR WATCH/ The sixth day of the National Workshop organized at the Department of Music Dr Harisingh Gour University concluded in hybrid mode.
In the first session, as the first speaker and subject expert, Dr Awadhesh Pratap Singh Tomar gave his lecture on the subject of music in the institutional teaching system of music and the new education policy.
The second speaker of this session, Dr Durgesh Upadhyay, who came from Varanasi, also presented his views.
Dr Anoop Monghe was the subject expert in the second session. He introduced Ragas through bandishes and told how to remember Raga, Taal and musical knowledge in a simple and musical way. Dilip Mane, present online from Bhopal, told his personal experiments on music therapy.
In the sequence of presentations in the evening session, the first presentation was given by the participants of the workshop and students from various music institutions of the city under the direction of Yash Gopal Srivastava. He presented Chhota Khayal and Chaturanga in Raag Desh.
The second presentation was of Vanshika Vyas. Thereafter, Miss Hitanshi Pamnani presented a Qawwali. Under classical singing, Nikhil Soni presented Delayed Khayal and Drut Khayal in Raag Maru Bihag. Accompanied by Shailendra Singh Rajput on Tabla and Kaushal Mehra on Harmonium.
