Sagar Watch/ Union Home Ministry, Government of India, has honored Additional Superintendent of Police Lokesh Kumar Sinha with the "Home Minister Investigation Excellence Medal". This medal and citation will be presented to Mr. Sinha at the Republic Day function on 26th January in Sagar.
Additional Superintendent of Police Sagar, who received the honour, was at that time posted as Sub-Divisional Officer, Police Bairagarh, Bhopal. During his tenure, a seven-year-old child was kidnapped and brutally murdered. Due to which there was a sensation in the state capital.
The investigation in the said crime was handed over to Lokesh Kumar Singh, then posted as Sub-Divisional Officer, Police Bairagarh. Shri Sinha arrested the accused in the murder case within 24 hours, collected all types of physical evidence, circumstantial evidence and technical evidence and immediately presented the challan before the Bhopal court. In which the accused has been sentenced to triple life imprisonment by the court. He has received this honor for this excellent analysis.
Lokesh Kumar Sinha has been congratulated by the Inspector General of Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Superintendent of Police and other senior police officers on receiving the medal and citation from the Government of India.
