Women Cricket Tournament-First Day Haryana and Rewa Teams bags Victory

Sagar Watch/ Veerangana Nari Shakti Cup Cricket Tournament on Thursday morning,inaugrated in the presence of  Chief Guest Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Provincial Executive Sunil Dev, Special Guest Shailendra Jain, MLA Sagar and Program Chairman Manohar Lal Chaurasia, Committee Convener Rajkumar Sumreddy, Manager Dr. Umesh Saraf, Committee Chairman Amit Kesarwani Veerangana and  Vahini President Kamleshwari Mishra.

On this occasion, program coordinator Rajkumar Sumreddy said that Utsav Samiti Sagar works for social awareness through religious and social events. The committee is now organizing the National Leather Children's Cricket Competition for girls in sports also.

Keynote speaker Sunil Ji Dev said in his address that the increasing participation of mother power in sports is commendable. India's mother power is making its name on the world stage by setting records. 

In the same sequence, the Utsav Committee is giving a good message to the country and society by organizing a national event in Sagar. This is the first women's leather wall cricket tournament in the history of Sagar. Veerangana Vahini Utsav Committee deserves thanks for this.

Opening Match

The first match between Veerangana Sahodar Rai Warriors Sagar and Veerangana Rani Durgavati Warriors Rewa started at 10 am. Rani Durgavati Warriors Rewa won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, they scored 162 runs losing one wicket in the stipulated 20 overs. Two players of the team, Muskaan, remained not out after scoring 66 runs and Vaishnavi 56 runs.

Aditi took one wicket from Sagar. In reply, Veerangana Sahodra Rai Warriors were all out for 92 runs while chasing the target. For Sagar, Chhavi scored 37 runs and Riya scored 42 runs. From Rewa, Muskaan and Kajal took two wickets each. The player of the match was Muskaan from Rewa. Who scored 66 runs and took two wickets.

The second match took place at 1 pm between Veerangana Rani Kamlapati Fighter Bhopal and Veerangana Lakshmi Arya Fighter Haryana. Haryana won the toss and batted first and scored 138 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. 

In response to which Bhopal Team achieved its target in 15 overs. They scored only 114 runs after losing  one wicket. Bhopal Team Player Anshulika scored the highest 65 runs and became the player of the match.
