👉It is no surprise that after some time the rule of working only five days a week should be implemented in banks. According to media reports, once again the United Forum of Bank Unions, an alliance of bank employee unions, has written a letter to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman requesting to implement a five-day working week in banks.
He has argued in favor of his demand that the system of working five days a week is already in force in the Reserve Bank and Life Insurance Corporation. In other banks too, second and fourth Saturdays are a holiday. This can be extended for two more weeks.
Apart from this, the organization of bank employees' union has claimed that due to the implementation of the new system, there will be no problem for the customers because the banks will increase the working hours in the five-day working week.
