Sagar Watch News/ Under the leadership of Patron of Municipal Corporation Employees Union, Madhav Prasad Katare, a memorandum has been submitted in the name of Municipal Corporation Commissioner to Deputy Finance Commissioner Hemlata Patel demanding payment of outstanding arrears from the government.
The employees union has written in the memorandum that by the circular dated 19 July 2023 of the Madhya Pradesh Government Finance Department, the rate of dearness allowance under the prevalent seventh pay scale for government servants has been increased by 4 percent from January 1. 2023.
Whose due date is from 1st July 2023. As per the orders of the government, the increased amount of dearness allowance is being paid to the employees of Municipal Corporation Sagar from April.
According to the referred letter of the government, the outstanding amount from July 1, 2023, to February 29, 2024, is to be paid in three equal installments in July, August, and September 2024 respectively.
Therefore, as per the the government instructions, the arrears should be paid in three installments and the salary for the Month of April 2024 should also be given immediately.
Dharmendra Bohare, Vikas Upadhyay, Chandravijay Gaur, and other employees were present among those who submitted the memorandum.
