Sagar Watch/  According to the Madhya Pradesh Transport Department, on payment of arrears of motor vehicle tax and penalty in a lump sum by March 2023, a complete exemption is being given on the penalty of their motor vehicle tax and exemption on the amount of their motor vehicle tax.

Regional Transport Officer, Sunil Kumar Shukla said that under the scheme, 155 vehicle owners in Sagar district have so far availed benefits on the outstanding tax amount on their owned vehicles and The amount of Rs 5177300/- was received by the government as tax.

Vehicle owners of such passenger and load-carrying vehicles registered in this office have been told that on whose vehicles the amount of motor vehicle tax and penalty is outstanding, and they are eligible as per the above notification, they can get the benefit of this scheme in maximum numbers.
