Tribute, Congress, Lal Bahadur Shastri
Sagar Watch/ On the death anniversary of Pandit Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second Prime Minister of India and who gave the slogan of Jai Jawan Jai Kisan, the District Congress Committee remembered him at the city headquarters, Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, Teenbatti.
After offering flowers on Shastriji's picture and keeping silence for two minutes, slogans of 'Jai-Jai' were raised. State Vice President Amit Dubey Ramji said that the simplicity of Lal Bahadur Shastri is still alive in the hearts of the people. Shastri ji has always been and will be a source of inspiration for the soldiers who protect the country from the farmers.
Acting President of District City Congress Committee, Chakresh Singhai said that Pandit ji presented many ideals by staying in politics. His whole life was a struggle.
State Secretary Surendra Choubey paid tribute to Shastri ji citing a statement that those who govern should see how people react to the administration, ultimately the public is the chief.
The program was organized under the leadership of City Seva Dal President Sintu Katare, in which Jitendra Singh Chawla, Sharad Purohit, Pradeep Gupta, Rakesh Rai, Mahesh Jatav, Jitendra Rohan, Deendayal Tiwari, Brijendra Nagariya, Imtiaz Hussain Sagar Sahu, Nitin Pachauri, Kallu Patel, Zahid Contractor, Shridas Rackwar, Shafiq Khan, Faheem, Lalla Yadav, Pawan Ghoshi, Ankur Yadav, Nikki Yadav, Annu Ghoshi, Akash etc were present.
