Sagar Watch/ Association of Microbiology of India (AMI) has honored Isha Sharma, a research student of the Department of Microbiology, Dr. Harisingh Gour University, with the Best Oral Presentation Award for her excellent research work.
This honor has been given to him on the research paper presented on the decomposition of chicken feathers by bacteria and making useful substances from them in the 64th International Seminar of AMI organized from 1 to 3 December at Bundelkhand University, Jhansi.
Isha has been working on the biodegradation of poultry feathers for the last five years and is also a DST Inspire Fellow. She is doing her research work under the direction of Professor Naveen Kango, Head of the Department of Microbiology.
Along with this award, he has also been awarded a gift voucher worth 200 Euro by Springer Nature India. The teachers and research students of the department have congratulated on this achievement.
