RTO, E-Rickshaw, Without Documents
Sagar Watch/ E-rickshaws are being operated in the city without documents, without license and without registration. Seeing the increasing number of such complaints, the Sagar Regional Transport Department finally lost sleep.
On Wednesday, on the instructions of Divisional Regional Transport Officer, the department staff checked the documents of 45 e-rickshaws in the city. During investigation, more than a dozen e-rickshaws were found to be operating against the rules without documents.
In this regard, the Regional Transport Officer has instructed all the vehicle owners to get registration number strips installed on their vehicles and ensure that the vehicles are operated as per the rules.
