On Spot Check Of Food Adulteration
As part of the ongoing campaign against food adulteration, the Food Safety Officer at CM Rise School and Kids Academy on Friday explained in detail to the students about food adulteration and ways to prevent it.
On this occasion, common tests for adulteration of colors in spices, adulteration of milk, sweets and starch at home were demonstrated in the mobile food laboratory. Students were told that by paying only Rs 10/- fee, they can get the instant food items tested at the primary level from the mobile food laboratory.
Appointment
The Higher Education Department has given in-principle approval for the establishment of the new Rani Avantibai Lodhi University, Sagar. Immediately after the approval, Dr. Shakti Jain, Professor (Economics), Government Post Graduate Girls College, Sagar, has been given the additional charge of Registrar of Rani Avantibai Lodhi University along with the present duties, till further orders.
Memorandum to Build Speed-Breakers
In a memorandum addressed to the city MLA and endorsed to the District Collector, the residents of Tili-based residential colonies and nearby areas have requested to install speed breakers on the widening road.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra
On the fifth day of the second phase of the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, camps were organized in Bhagwanganj and Katra wards in the Municipal Corporation area.
In these camps, citizens were made aware of various public welfare schemes being run by the Central and State Government and were given information about various schemes. Action was taken to provide benefits to the eligible persons.
