Media Certification Committee Formed For Upcoming Loksabha Election

Sagar Watch/ As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the work of authentication of advertisements will be done by the District Election Officer and Returning Officer, Assistant Returning Officer, Social Media/Intermediary Expert and the complaints related to paid news will be resolved by the members of MCMC (Media Certification and Monitoring Committee).

As per the orders of Collector and District Election Officer Deepak Arya, for the authentication work of advertisement, the Chairman is the Collector and District Election Officer, all the Assistant Returning Officers for the members, the concerned Assembly, Intermediary Expert/Social Media Expert, District Information Officer Prashant Karole.

To resolve the complaints related to paid news, Information and Broadcasting Ministry official Akashvani Mr. Deepak Kumar Nishad, independent citizen/senior journalist Rajesh Srivastava and Assistant Director Public Relations Department Soumya Samaiya, in-charge District Public Relations Officer Manoj Nema will be there.
