According to the above decision taken by the All India Congress Committee, a large number of Congress leaders, including State Congress President and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, General Secretary in-charge of Abha Congress, former MP JP Agarwal, all senior Congress leaders, MPs, MLAs, State Congress office bearers participated in the gherao programme. While giving this information in a press conference organized at the divisional headquarters in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson Dr Sandeep Sablok said that the poor and middle class are suffering due to the deepening economic crisis caused by the policy of crony capitalism adopted by the BJP government at the Center in favour of industrialist Gautam Adani. The savings of crores of Indians have been put at risk.

In this event, the State Congress Committee has told all the district in-charges, co-in-charges and all the district/city Congress Committee presidents to invite all their district colleagues, especially block Congress presidents, mandalam and sector presidents, front organizations, Departments and cells, public representatives of local organizations and all Congressmen including information about Raj Bhavan Gherao-Vishal March program and compulsorily ensure their presence.
