State Level Badmintor-Table Tennis Matchs Begins In Sagar

Sagar Watch/ The organization of 10th State Level Departmental Officer Employees Badminton Table Tennis Competition of Madhya Pradesh Public Instruction Directorate has started from today at Sagar City Stadium. The competition was inaugurated by city MLA Shailendra Jain.

Teams from 10 divisions of the state are participating in this competition. A total of 150 male and female players participated in the competition. The competition will be held till January 30. All the competitions of table tennis and badminton will be held at City Stadium Sagar only.

According to District Sports Officer Sanjay Dadar, accommodation arrangements for male players who came from other divisions to participate in the competition have been made in Malaiya Marriage Garden and for female players in the hostel of Government School of Excellence, Sagar. Food arrangements for all the players have been made in Jain school.

The results of today's games of the competition were as follows.

Badminton

Men's category - Sagar was the winner in the match played between Sagar and DPI, 

while Rewa was the winner in the match played between Rewa and Jabalpur, 

Gwalior was the winner in the match between Gwalior and Bhopal and 

Rewa was the winner in Narmada Puram.

Women's category - Sagar was the winner in the match played between Sagar and Ujjain 

while DPI was the winner in the match against Rewa and DPI.

Table Tennis

Men's category - Bhopal was the winner in the match between Bhopal and Rewa.

Jabalpur was the winner in the match between Jabalpur and Tribal Department.

A match was played between Narmada Puram and Sagar in which Sagar was the winner.

Women's category - A match was played between Bhopal and Sagar in which Sagar was the winner. M

Match played between DP and Jabalpur in which Jabalpur was the winner. 

Semi Final

 The match will be played between Sagar and Jabalpur.
