Sagar Watch/ Revenue and police personnel in the district, who became active after the fire incident in the firecracker factory in Harda, took a major action in the Banda development block of the district. The staff caught a huge cache of firecrackers from the shop of a cloth merchant in Banda.
SDOP Shikha Soni told that along with SDM Sandeep Singh Parihar, Shailendra Jain, a resident of Banda, a cloth merchant, was illegally storing more than 100 kg of firecrackers on the first floor above the cloth shop at Bara intersection.
Acting on which accused Shailendra Jain has been arrested. Also, the entire illegal storage has been brought to Banda police station.
