National Women's Leather Ball T20 Cricket Competition is being organized by the festival committee from 24th January. This cricket tournament is being organized for the first time in Sagar. In this, league matches will be played between the teams of 6 states of the country namely Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Arunachal Pradesh.

Program coordinator Rajkumar Sumredi in a press conference on Tuesday, Informed that The matches will be held on the playground of Dr. Harisingh Gaur University. He told that the Utsav Committee has been working for social awareness through religious and social events since last 2010.

The committee is now trying to present the great men and brave women of India as role models through sports. So that the young generation can present ideals in the society by making these great men ideal and following their footsteps.

There are many great men and women who sacrificed everything for the country, about whom most people probably do not know. Through this event, the committee is working to give a message in the country and state in the form of honoring the brave women.

Program manager Dr. Umesh Saraf said that the cricket tournament has been named Veerangana Nari Shakti Cricket Cup by the festival committee. 

The names of all the teams from the states coming to the competition have also been named after the brave women and all the awards will also be given in the name of the brave women. 

Efforts are being made to convey the message of patriotism, national service and devotion to duty among the players through these awards.

Organizing Committee Chairman Vikram Singh Rajput said that this tournament will run from January 24 to February 2. The eight teams have been divided into two groups and the semi-finals will be held on January 31. There will be a match for third and fourth places on January 01. The final match will be held on February 2 at 11 am and the prize distribution will be held after 2 pm.

District President of Utsav Committee Amit Kesarwani, Veerangana Vahini President Mrs. Kamleshwari Mishra, Vice President Sandeep Tiwari, Mrs. Seema Aggarwal, Mukesh Aggarwal, Advocate Rajesh Mishra, Rajiv Kesarwani, Pankaj Gupta Vijay and all the members of the committee were present in the press conference.
